I specialise in providing unique, practical and intuitive design solutions for residential, retail, commercial and hospitality clients using knowledge of architecture, construction systems and components, building regulations and ergonomics. I help clients navigate the design process from concept through to technical design stage (RIBA Stage 1-4) offering advice on aesthetic appeal and structural safety. I aim to inspire and encourage clients to collaborate throughout the life-cycle of the project. Through active listening, vigorous analysis, exploration of ideas, and debate I can offer solutions sensitive to your taste, budget and context.
I’m qualified RIBA PART 3 professional and have a duty to comply with the Code of Practice, additional to the mandatory RIBA code of Conduct. This provides a comprehensive framework defining a high standard for integrity, competence and relationships. I plan spaces down to the last detail to ensure maximum return on investment and allow for future flexibility.
I’m committed to operating within an open, honest and fair environment. Architecture projects often involve hourly-rate work requiring thorough financial reporting so I’m used to high degree of financial scrutiny. I’m comfortable disclosing information on my workflow and project management over the lifecycle of the project.
I walk clients through the process and deliverables illustrating this with previous client’s projects. To give you a sense of whether I have the right balance of creative flair, technical expertise, practicality and communication skills, I can provide references.
