NewCo, Neathouse Place, London,  2014

This fit-out project was to refresh a new company’s image as it had been born from a split with BHP Billiton. For the purposes of the project we will call the company ‘NewCo’. The lease of Level 05 at Neathouse Place in London, where the company is situated, is for 2 years.

Design Intent Objectives:

The layout plans and design concept drawings seen here outline the intent to have a welcoming entry point to the office floor with waiting and break-out areas that present an informal and relaxed setting. Further into the office, once can see how smart space planning has been used in the arrangement of desk clusters and meeting rooms (the latter located with sound-proof partitioning to ensure meeting attendants are not distracted by office noise).

From the design intent drawings, it is visible that the interior design aims to achieve a sense of wellbeing through comfortable furniture, spacious working and break out areas and a light and upbeat colour palette.

Ana’s Involvement:

Ana Sidorova’s was working at Woods Bagot architects at the time of her involvement on this project.  Her role saw her producing space planning and concept project packages which included details form the existing site survey.
