Sidorova Design was approached by the owner of the Arch 130 restaurant – to be located at Three Colt Lane, Bethnal Green, E2 (3 arches away from Bethnal Green Overground Station) – who instructed Ana and her team to produce and compile plans conveying their design intent for their restaurant’s layout prior to its construction.
The space was rented by the owner of the restaurant from ‘The Arch Co’ – controlled by ‘Telereal Trillium’ and ‘Blackstone Property Partners’ and ‘the largest provider of properties for small and medium sized businesses in England and Wales’ – and, as the landlord, the latter’s permission is required before any development works are carried out in its property by the tenant.
Prior to any alteration works, the arch space was a largely open area that had previously housed a taxi company:
Sidorova Design’s Involvement
Below are the plans that Sidorova Design produced for the restaurant owner in order to obtain permission from the landlord to create their intended design within the rented space.
Plans included Existing Layouts and Demolition plans to highlight to The Arc Co which existing sections and areas were to be removed/changed.
Proposed layouts, elevations and 3D views then allowed The Arch Co to see how the space would be used in the final design.
All of these plans together effectively presented the alterations from start to finish, providing a start-to-finish guide of the project.

The Arch Co approved the plans and the restaurant owner’s intent as they could clearly envisage how the space would be used by the tenant.
Providing a clear and concise breakdown of the works required via the submittal of a drawings package ensured that approval was obtained with a minimum of fuss.
