Welcome

I am Ana Sidorova,
an experienced and driven Architectural Designer.

With over 9 years of industry experience and a completed RIBA Part III ‘Architect in Practice’ qualification, I am the right choice to help you transform your ideas into reality.

Having worked for some of the top architect practices in London, my experience in the industry spans across many different areas including: client liaison, space planning, FF&E, working on heritage buildings, preparing architectural plans and full tenders, construction and ‘as built’ packages and interior design packages for project issue. Aside from commercial office fit-out design, my experience also covers residential projects (new build and listed buildings) of up to 500,000sqm.

My most recent role saw me coordinating and managing both a construction team and a design team (facilitating collaboration between the two) for a 50,000sqft commercial project in Paddington.

I always work very closely with (sub)contractors and construction teams, and regularly liaise with both parties. My background in architecture and experience in the industry are what enable me to consistently help deliver projects with minimal snags. The nature of my role is both demanding and rewarding, from the design phase to managing final completion, but I relish the challenges it brings and am a stranger to failure.

My current ambition is to become self-employed and work on a contract or freelance basis. My extensive skill-set includes a high proficiency in using the software ‘Revit’ (for creating 2D & 3D models, ‘Revit families’, schedules, schematics, space plans and more) and my penchant for detailed designs and coordination of trades makes me a competent candidate who is able to work remotely (with occasional site/office meetings, of course).

Design and construction are my passions. As such, I have developed a deep understanding of the need for plans and drawings that lead to quality practical completion without compromising on design philosophy and top-tier aesthetics.

Finally, the ability to be flexible is one I acquired through necessity having worked on an array of different projects.  As such, I am able to design, and advise on, small-to-large scale commercial projects, family houses/extensions/conversions/refurbishments and many other varieties of development. The key is communication, understanding the client’s vision and becoming acquainted with the details of the design.

My job is to make the process as seamless as possible and to bring your plan to life.

So let’s work together!

My achievements

Personal Achievements & Awards

During my time in academia, I was awarded first place for my ‘Sound Waves Fountain’ design entry into a competition held by the ‘Design Exquis Exhibition’, and this piece was prominently displayed at the Roca London Gallery in Chelsea Harbour. I was in my third undergraduate year at the University of Brighton.

Additionally, having just graduated from the same university, I was presented with the award for ‘Most Comprehensive Student Project’ at the Interior Educators show at ‘Free Range’ (the UK’s largest showcase and only collective exhibition of the best work produced by the 2014 graduates from leading UK undergraduate courses within Interior Architecture & Design).

The work that went into the above was produced whilst I also pursued my degree. Focusing on both required a lot of determination and perseverance. Ultimately, these awards proved to me that hard work and affinity for architectural design were key elements in delivering innovative and quality compositions.

My Education

I graduated from the University of Brighton in 2014 with a BA(Hons) degree in Architecture. From there, I decided to further develop my understanding of architecture and interior design by studying for a masters degree in architecture (RIBA Part 2) at the University of Westminster, which I duly obtained. In addition, I have successfully completed the course and passed all my exams for (RIBA Part 3) course at London Metropolitan University in 2019.

These qualifications allowed me to fully indulge my passion in design professionally.
